Ashley Hoffman, Soprano
Ashley Hoffman has appeared locally as a soloist and chorister with the Colorado Bach Ensemble, St. Martin's Chamber Choir, the Archdiocesan Chorale, Denver Early Music Consort, Ars Nova Singers, St. John’s Cathedral Choir, the Vittoria Ensemble, and Colorado Chorale, and she serves as a staff singer at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. In 2014, she was the soprano soloist for the joint performance of the Faure Requiem by the Saint John's Cathedral Choir and the Saint Andrew's Choir. Before moving to Denver, Ashley performed professionally in the Los Angeles area with De Angelis Vocal Ensemble, LASchola, Jouyssance Early Music Ensemble, All Saints‘ Beverly Hills and St. James‘ in the City. Her recording credits include CDs, soundtracks and video games. During the day she works as a web designer and graphic artist, on projects such as the St. Martin's Chamber Choir website, and spends time with her husband, Barry, and five-year- old daughter, Lyra.

Danielle Kimbell, Soprano
Danielle Kimbell, coloratura soprano, is delighted to sing her first concert with the Denver Early Music Consort. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Northern Colorado, where she had the pleasure of studying under Dr. Melissa Malde. This summer, Danielle performed with St. Martin's Chamber Choir for several engagements at the Colorado Music Festival. Danielle has sung professionally with St. Martin's Chamber Choir and the Greeley Chorale, and has been a staff singer at Saint John's Episcopal Cathedral since 2012. She is also a frequent recitalist and soloist, appearing in various local Denver venues, and enjoys curating a collection of vintage costumes and textiles.

Claudia Folk Wright, Alto
Claudia Folk Wright is an experienced choral artist and lyric mezzo-soprano. A Westminster Choir College graduate, she has performed and recorded with choirs and orchestras across the country and internationally. She is a professional soloist and staff singer at St. John’s Cathedral in Denver and a former member of La Renaissance and Orleans Chamber Singers in New Orleans, LA. Claudia performs regularly with choral and instrumental ensembles in the Denver area, including St. Martin's Chamber Choir and the Denver Early Music Consort.

Ann Marie Morgan, Viol & Alto
Praised by the Baltimore Sun for her “beguiling musicality” Ann Marie Morgan is a frequent guest artist on viola da gamba and has performed in the Bach St. John and St. Matthew Passions with the Philadelphia and Minnesota Orchestras. She is a regular guest at numerous Bach Festivals including Oregon, Bethlehem, and Boulder, has performed and taught internationally in Germany, the Czech Republic and Turkey. She has been concerto soloist (viola da gamba and violoncello piccolo) with Apollo’s Fire: The Cleveland Baroque Orchestra and the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado. This season she returned to work with The Cleveland Orchestra as viola da gamba soloist in Bach's St. John Passion, was Bach Passion viol soloist with the Colorado and Quad Cities Symphonies, performed on violoncello piccolo with tenor Nicholas Phan, and appeared in recital with Grammy nominated harpsichordist Jory Vinikour. A frequent chamber music collaborator and recording artist, she can be heard on twenty commercially released recordings on both baroque cello and viola da gamba. Recent live appearences include concerts at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall; in Istanbul, Turkey; in Santa Fe and at the University of Minnesota. Ms Morgan has served on the Early Music faculties of the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University and at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. She received her Bachelor of Music (cello) from Peabody and her Artist Diploma (viola da gamba and baroque cello) from Oberlin.

Kathleen Schmidt, Director & Alto
Kathleen Schmidt is a lyric mezzo-soprano, and was appointed as the Artistic Director for the Denver Early Music Consort in 2015. In late 2016 she made her debut with the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado, performing sacred Spanish and "New World" compositions from the early colonial Americas. She was a featured soloist in the "Beyond Baroque" segment of the Sounds of Lyons Music Festival in Lyons, Colorado. Earlier in 2016, she conducted a DEMC performance of Spanish Renaissance polyphony, including a Requiem Mass for double choir by Mateo Romero. An early music specialist, Kathleen has created a curricular program of Renaissance-era music for use by the Colorado Symphony Orchestra as part of their education outreach efforts in public schools across the Front Range. In 2015, she performed at the Dairy Arts Center in Boulder and at Dazzle Jazz in Denver as part of their classical music series, debuting her transcriptions of the vocal music of medieval composer Hildegard of Bingen. She is a member of Saint Martin's Chamber Choir, a professional concert choir based in Denver, and was featured as the alto soloist for the November 2015 SMCC performance of the Mozart Requiem.

Bob Reynolds, Tenor
During his 35 years living in Washington, D.C., tenor Bob Reynolds was a member of numerous concert choirs, including the Washington Bach Consort, The Early English Ensemble, Chantry, the Woodley Ensemble, and the Palestrina Choir. He sang for a number of D.C.’s churches as well, including The National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Church of the Epiphany, St. John’s Lafayette Square, St. Paul’s K Street, Christchurch Georgetown, and St. Paul’s Rock Creek. Bob moved to Denver in 2011, where he joined the staff choir of St. John’s Cathedral in Denver. In addition to singing occasional concerts with St. Martin’s Chamber Choir, he presents workshops in Denver schools for St. Martin’s Education and Outreach Program. These 50-minute workshops teach (mostly elementary school students) good choral singing practices. Bob’s solo work includes Purcell’s The Indian Queen, Domenico Scarlatti’s Stabat Mater, a St. Luke passion attributed to J.S. Bach, and early 17th-century songs with lute and theorbo accompaniment.
Brock Erickson, Tenor
Brock Erickson grew up in Northeastern Ohio and received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Kent State University. After moving to Colorado he studied music composition at the University of Denver's Lamont School of Music. Brock is a longtime member of St. Martin's Chamber Choir, and has been a staff singer at Washington Park and University Park United Methodist and St. Andrew’s Episcopal churches. He was a frequent performer with the early music ensemble Diverse Passions, and has sung with the Colorado Music Festival, The Playground Ensemble, and the Evans Choir. In addition to his choral singing he has played flute and saxophone in numerous classical and jazz ensembles.

Kenneth Donahue, Bass-Baritone
Kenneth Donahue has performed as a soloist with numerous organizations in the Denver-Boulder area. At the University of Colorado he has sung in the Eklund Opera Program and the New Opera Workshop (CU Now). He has also performed with the Colorado Music Festival, Seicento Baroque Ensemble, Happy Hour Chamber Concerts, Cathedral Choir and Orchestra of St. John’s Cathedral, Denver Early Music Consort, Denver Opera Collective, and the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado. Mr. Donahue came from South Dakota to Boulder in 2009 to study with Patrick Mason and complete his Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Alan Polacek, Baritone
Baritone Alan Polacek is a staff singer and soloist at St. John's Cathedral, Denver. As a chorister, he has worked with the Colorado Symphony, Pro Musica Colorado Chamber Orchestra, the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado, The Colorado Chamber Players, and the Denver Early Music Consort. He recently performed at the Colorado Music Festival in Boulder, Colorado. In addition to singing, he is an accomplished pianist, arranger, and composer, well-versed in classical and jazz styles, appearing collaboratively and as a soloist. Alan received his Bachelors of Music in Composition at the University of Colorado, Boulder, in 2007.
